CHILDCARE UPDATE

As of June 1 child care facilities will be allowed to reopen in Rhode Island. We have made the decision to hold off on reopening our childcare programs until we feel confident in delivering programming in a manner that will keep our little ones and staff safe, as well as, provide the quality that you have come to expect form us. We are actively working on plans to restart youth programs that are in line with new state regulations and current guidance from the CDC. While we do not have a specific reopen date, we will continue to keep you informed.

Current enrolled families can select from the options below should you like to make a status change for your child.

Donate your credit to the Y. Our buildings may be closed, but our work continues to support our communities through this crisis. But we can't do it alone. Your donation will help us continue to support those who need it the most.

We will come out on the other side of this and the Y will be there to offer support to families during out-of-school times. Leave the credit on your account for use when we resume operations.

We understand that in times like these, every penny counts, so we can fully refund any fees pad for the week of March 16, 2020.

SUMMER CAMP UPDATE

Please take a moment to review some important updates regarding the impact of COVID-19 on our 2020 camp season.  While we do not have a final decision around what camp will look like this summer, we are hopeful that you will find the information provided helpful as we all look towards summer.

Before and After School Care

At the Cranston YMCA we offer a safe, supervised program that helps to develop character and inspire discovery in fun and exciting ways. Our programs are licensed by the State of Rhode Island and we offer enrichment activities such as sports, yoga, martial arts, and theater.

More than childcare, the Out of School Time (OST) program nurtures the potential of children. At the Y, kids are cultivating the values, skills, and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better behavior, health, and educational achievement. For more information, contact Jessica Tate, OST Director at jtate@gpymca.org
