West Bay Family YMCA

The West Bay Family YMCA has been home to many generations over the years. The past few months have been filled with reflection and gratitude. While we, too, are saddened by the consolidation taking place on April 30, 2019, we welcome and invite each of you to stay within the Y family and relocate to one of our sister branches located in South Kingstown or Warwick, Rhode Island. Our highly trained staff and community members are looking forward to meeting you.

Transferring your membership is easy.

Simply visit, call, or email Kim Donald before Tuesday, April 30 and select your new YMCA location.

PHONE: 401-295-6501
EMAIL: KDonald@gpymca.org

NOTE: If you DO NOT wish to transfer your membership to another YMCA location, please contact us by April 30 to avoid paying membership dues. If no action is taken by Tuesday, April 30 membership dues will continue to draft from your account.

Out of School Time

Everybody likes to have fun! And that is what we do at the Out of School Time program from the West Bay Family YMCA. We offer activities that provide healthy development of spirit, body, and mind. Understanding that each child is unique, the program offers options to explore and develop talents. With academic support and health & wellness activities, children develop self-confidence. Active learning is important to your child’s success; children learn best through play!

The morning program is located at the Forest Park elementary school. Opening time is 6:45 AM and our bus transports to Fishing Cove, Quidnessett, Stony Lane and Hamilton schools. Forest Park students leave our care when school opens at 9:10 AM.

Our afternoon program is located at Fishing Cove elementary school. Awarded the title of National Blue Ribbon School in 2017, we work closely with the teachers and schools to create the best academically- aligned program for your child. They learn to explore areas of Literacy, Math, Science, Social Studies and the Arts in fun and meaningful ways.

Activities include assisting with homework projects, developing time management skills and literacy enrichment with creativity and self-expression through drama, dance and mixed media art and games.

Registration is going on NOW!!
