Newman YMCA camps strive to create a safe and caring community for your child. We want all children to feel welcome and accepted. Every day will offer your child new experiences, the chance to develop new skills and the opportunity to make new friends. We offer camps with varied focus, such as nature, sports, art, theater, music, gymnastics, and leadership development. All of our programs are designed to encourage group participation, cooperation, build self-confidence and allow children to develop individual interests. No matter which camp you choose, your child will receive a well-balanced experience, by having their physical and emotional needs met. 

Recently we were honored by having the Seaconke Wampanoag Tribe name our camp. After several visits getting a feel for the camp grounds, Three Bears (Cultural Advisor/Executive Council) named us Camp Wamsutta which means 'Loving Heart'.
