  • Beginner Tennis

    Ages 18 and older
    This class is for individuals new to the game of tennis. Terminology and basic stroke techniques will be covered. Each stroke is broken down, making tennis easy and fun. Limit 6 per class.

  • Intermediate Tennis

    Ages 18 and older
    For players who have had lessons before and have some consistency in strokes. Drills work toward maintaining longer rallies and mastering stroke techniques. Limit 6 per class. 

  • Advanced Tennis

    Ages 18 and older
    For players who demonstrate consistency in all strokes. The class will focus on drills, perfecting stroke technique, strategy and court coverage. Limit 6 per class.

  • 5 on 5 Adult Basketball

    Ages 18 & Older
    Three divisions of adult basketball play games on Sundays starting at 8:00 a.m. Referees are provided for all games.  Teams will not be added to the schedule until all fees are paid.
    Season: Fall, Winter & Spring
    Fall Playoffs: TBA

  • Youth Basketball Program


    Ages 4-14

    This is a co-ed program for kids of all abilities. We stress good sportsmanship, friendship, basic skill development, and having fun. Basket height and ball size are adjusted for each division.  For proper team placement, all players must attend an assessment. Instruction, games, and t-shirts are included in YBL fees. Volunteer coaches are needed for all teams.                        
    Season: Late Fall, Early Winter

  • Progressive Gymnastics

    Ages 6-17
    Join our growing gymnastics program. First-graders through teens can develop gymnastics skills, self-confidence and coordination while having fun. New participants are welcome at all levels. See our Program Guide for details.

  • Boys Gymnastics

    Ages 5-7
    A beginner gymnastics class just for boys. This class, based on progressions, builds self-confidence, coordination, and is fun! The focus events are floor, bars, and vault. No prior experience is necessary. Appropriate apparatus skills will also be introduced on balance beam, uneven bars and vault.

  • Kindergymnastics

    Must be at least 5 years old
    This fun, structured gymnastics class includes developmentally appropriate skills introduced on bars, beam, and floor in a creative, safe, and fun atmosphere. PKGM



  • YMCA Gymnastics Team

    Ages 6-17
    The Kent County YMCA Gymnastics Team is a friendly, low-pressure competitive gymnastics program. Using the curriculum designed by USAG, gymnasts learn important lessons of goal setting, dedication, teamwork, and the Y’s core values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Gymnasts may have opportunities to compete in the Eastern Massachusetts Gymnastics Regionals and YMCA National Championships. Prior to registration participants must have completed all of the progressive classes, or be successfully evaluated by the coaches. A second child per family participating in this program receives a 10% discount.

  • T-Ball

    Kids can have a great time learning the basic skills of baseball. Hitting, fielding, throwing and team strategy will be covered. Classes are limited to 24 participants in each section. In the event of rain, make-up classes will be held at the end of the session.  Volunteer coaches are always welcome and needed!
    Season: Spring

  • Youth Tennis

    Classes will focus on all tennis skills: forehand, backhand, games and drills. Classes are limited to 12 participants in each section. 
    Season: Fall & Spring


  • Youth Martial Arts

    Ages 7-11
    Martial arts are a fun way to exercise with age-appropriate techniques and carefully designed activities as a means to develop their physical fitness. Enhancing their balance, coordination, muscle control and strength; increasing their ability to follow directions that involve multiple steps; and building better awareness and a capacity for self-control, discipline and respect. It is a healthy way to build strong mind, body and spirit in an age-appropriate manner by focusing on the progressive skills of martial arts. We promote the positive values of courage, courtesy, honor, integrity, self-control, respect, and responsibility. 


  • Pre School Martial Arts

     Lil' Dragons

    Ages 3-4

    Children will learn basic karate techniques that teach responsibility, self-awareness and teamwork, as well as improving coordination and flexibility skills in a class designed to be educational and fun

    Little Ninjas

    Ages 5-6
    Children will learn basic karate techniques that teach responsibility, self-awareness and teamwork, as well as improving coordination and flexibility skills in a class designed to be educational and fun.

  • Youth Soccer

    Ages 5-6
    Come have fun learning passing, dribbling and the basics of soccer all while making new friends. All participants need to bring a size 3 soccer ball.
    Season: Fall
