  • Lifeguard Certification Course 

    Ages 16-Adult
    Participants will receive a national YMCA of the USA Lifeguard Certification. Attendance at every class is required. Standard First Aid, CPR/AED and Oxygen Administration are pre-requisites for this class. TLGC

  • American Safety & Health Institute CPR Pro for the Professional Rescuer

     The American Safety & Health Institute CPR Program for the Professional Rescuer is designed to teach CPR skills for victims of all ages. Skills include ventilation with barrier and bag-mask devices, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relief of foreign body airway obstruction. This class is intended for participants who provide healthcare to potential victims in a variety of settings. Proficiency in skills will be required for certification. BLS.



  • American Safety & Health Institute Basic First Aid Certification

    Students will learn to recognize and cope with life-threatening emergencies. First Aid is a two-year certification, awarded upon successful completion of the course. AFIR

    Note: A participant’s request to withdraw from a CPR or First Aid class must be received 48 hours prior to the day of the class, at which time a credit will be offered (no refunds.) Participants canceling after 48 hours will not be issued a credit.


 

  • Emergency Oxygen Administration

    Emergency Oxygen Administration is a critical step in treating a severe or life-threatening illness or injury. This program focuses on administering emergency oxygen, rescue breathing and oxygen delivery devices. O2ADMIN


  • Family & Friends CPR

    AHA’s Family & Friends CPR course is a course for everyone from schoolchildren to older family members, and other adults who care for people at risk of sudden death. Family & Friends CPR is not appropriate for use in place of the Basic Life Support (BLS) Layperson or the BLS Healthcare Provider Courses. It focuses on CPR and response to choking, gives information on AHA’s adult and pediatric chain of survival. FFCPR

  • Pet First Aid

    Pet First Aid is the immediate care given to an injured or suddenly ill pet as temporary assistance until competent veterinary care is available. Properly applied first aid can save your pet’s life, reduce recovery time and be the difference between temporary disability and lifelong disability. This program concentrates on basic first aid care. It is not intended to replace veterinary care, but rather to instruct the pet owner on how to save a pet’s life during an emergency or to minimize a pet’s trauma after an injury. PETFIR

  • Child & Baby Sitting

     Ages 11-16
    The CABS program stresses the priority to keep you and the children you care for safe. Babysitting is not just “watching” the children, but being responsible for their safety and well being. When you are caring for a child, you are taking care of a parent's) most prized possession. Everything in their home and your own home can be replaced— everything, that is, except a child. CABS
