Active Older Adults
"Baby Boomers,” “Sandwich Generation,” and “Grandparents Raising Children” are phrases that are part of a new era. As the population ages, the need for programs and activities that address this age group grows. YMCA volunteers, staff and fellow members encourage a welcoming and supportive atmosphere that addresses those needs and spans generations.
Keeping fit isn’t just for the young. Those who stay active in their retirement years not only extend their lives, but also enhance the quality of it.
