    Approximately 30 vendors will present information about services and products of interest to older adults. Free and open to the public.

    Flu Shot Clinic
    Friday, October 24, 2008
    12:00-4:00 p.m.
    S.P.I.N. Room - Main Building
    400 doses of flu shots will be available and offered free of charge to those with the following insurances: Blue Cross, United Health, Medicare and RiteCare. Please bring your insurance card with you. The fee for those with other insurances is $15, and for those with no insurance is $25.



  • Halloween at the YMCA

    5:00-7:00 p.m.
    Kent County YMCA, Main Building
    Bring your little goblins to the 12th Annual Halloween at the YMCA for a family-oriented evening of Halloween fun. Kids will enjoy cool tricks and fun treats while parents will enjoy our candy-free approach, showing children how easy (and fun!) it is to make good healthy choices! Fee is $7 per person, children under 24 months free. Registration begins October 1st at the Welcome Center. All children registered prior to October 18th will receive a free “Halloween at the YMCA” t-shirt. All members and program participants are invited.


  • Santa’s Holiday Workshop

    10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
    Kent County YMCA, Champlin Lodge
    Please join Santa and Mrs. Claus along with YMCA staff at Santa’s fun packed holiday workshop. Enjoy visiting with Santa, arts & crafts, holiday music, story time, refreshments and more. Fee is $7 per person, children under 24 months free. Registration begins November 10th at the Welcome Center.  There is limited space available, purchase tickets early!


  • Holiday Bus Trip to New York City

    Sunday, December 14, 2008
    Grab the family and head to the big apple for a day of shopping, sightseeing or whatever else you and your family are up for. The bus will leave the Kent County YMCA at 7:00 a.m. sharp to arrive in Times Square around 10:30 a.m. Spend the day how ever you would like and then jump back on the bus for 7:00 p.m. Let us worry about the traffic, gas, parking and all the other headaches that go along with driving in NYC. Join us for this first annual trip and make this part of your family’s holiday tradition.
