Introducing our Newest Board Members

Dan MillerHead Administrator of Wheeler School. Dan joined the Y in January of 2008 with his wife Joanna and children Sophie and Ezekiel. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in facility development, fiscal management and board and fund development.

Dan SchatzAttorney with Decof & Decof. Dan’s involvement with the Y goes back over 20 years when his children, now in their mid 20’s were in the YMCA Day Care. Dan has experience as a past board member and is currently a frequent user of the Y pool during lunch time hours.

Jay DeRienzo – Relationship Manager, Sovereign Bank  A graduate of Babson College and financial analyst Jay will be a great addition to our board. Jay has been a member of the YMCA since 1988, growing up at the Bayside Y where his first job at 15, was a Y camp counselor. He has coached soccer with Elite National Soccer and been involved with the youth of the providence community.

Lorenzo Perry
Youth Program Coordinator at Mt. Hope Neighborhood Association. Lorenzo graduated from Bryant University with a degree in Business Management. Lorenzo’s involvement with Y goes back to childhood days when he played basketball for the Y. He currently facilitates the Billy Taylor Summer Basketball league and coaches our Pop Warner Cowboys. Last summer he coordinated Providence’s summer work program and developed the “Work Ready” program for 19-21 year olds.

Marianne Migliori – Self Employed Print/Web Designer and professor at RISD. Marianne has been a member since 1997 with her husband Michael and four children Jonathan, Alison, Michelle and Andrew. The family has been involved with sports and the Sea Lions swim team and extensively within the community. Marianne brings a wealth of experience in graphic design, advertising, innovation, and the arts.
