• Began serving the East Side and Mount Hope community in 1947.

• Through 11 operating sites in the City of Providence, the YMCA will impact the lives of more than 8,500 people.
   
• In 2007, the YMCA will provide over $587,000 in financial assistance in the City of Providence for child care, membership and programs to ensure that no one is turned away.
   
• Employs 98 full- and part-time people.
