Teens
Teen Programs at the Cranston YMCA succeed because they are fun, but they also encourage teens to contribute their skills and abilities in solving community problems. Caring adult staff and volunteers offer guidance, but teens take the lead in pursuing themes and activities around their interests. Teens are encouraged to practice the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Leaders' Club
Cranston YMCA teen Leaders' Club program takes a holistic approach, encouraging leadership training, personal growth, service to others and social development. This approach offers teens the opportunity to build confidence and competence during a critical stage of their development. Participants in the Leaders' Club work together to develop program ideas, fundraising opportunities and special events. They also work as volunteers within the YMCA and their community. Teens ages 12-17 meet weekly and participate in social activities, as well as annual rally weekends with other YMCAs. Teens must be members of the YMCA.
