The Cranston YMCA is improving just for you! 
New equipment, new aerobics studio, community cafe and more.  The renovations for our new and improved fitness center is moving along smoothly, the pool, workout equipment and group excerises classes are still available.  

Arts and Humanities

The Cranston YMCA offers an emerging Arts and Humanities Program. Over the years, the YMCA arts program has grown dramatically and today, many of the Greater Providence YMCA branches offer arts programming. The Cranston YMCA’s programs are currently for children and teens, but you can find adult arts programming at many of our other branches.

  • Art Classes

    Does your child like to draw or want to learn how to? Maybe the Cranston YMCA’s Comic Book Art Class is for them! This class is for children ages 10 to 17 interested in drawing comic book characters! Students explore various styles used in comic book drawing and will produce their own comic! For more information on class times, please download our Fall Brochure.
  • Music Lessons

    Parents and children can have fun together in the Cranston YMCA’s preschool Half-Notes music class! Parents and their children between the ages of 3 and 5 will explore various instruments, music and singing each week.   • Dance Lessons

    Does your little one love to dance around the house? Now they can dance with their friends at the Cranston YMCA’s Twinkle Toes preschool dance class!
