Member Spotlight
In following with the YMCA philosophy that service-learning and volunteer development are tools to carry out the YMCA mission, the Cranston YMCA spotlights our Youth Volunteer of the Year – Samantha Ciaramello! Samantha is 11 years old and has been involved with the Rhodes After School Program and Camp Massasoit for the last three years. Samantha is always happy and smiling, joking and making everyone laugh! One of her favorite activities at the Rhodes After School Program and at camp is starring in comical skits.
Samantha was voted Youth Volunteer of the Year because she generously gives of her time to help organize and run activities at camp, such as scavenger hunts, ice cream socials and other special events. Samantha is a child with a big heart and a beautiful smile always willing to lend a hand!
