  If you are a parent of a child aged 3 to 5 and do not need full day childcare but would like your child to have the preschool experience of friends, fun and learning, then the Cranston YMCA’s Y’s Owl Nursery School is for you! Y’s Owl Nursery School is licensed by the RI Department of Education and is a great place for your child to grow! Our philosophy of learning through play is the foundation for our educational activities and building a positive self-image. Physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth is encouraged in a nurturing, supportive environment. We work to help your child gain socialization, independence and readiness skills to better prepare them for the transition to Kindergarten. Our experienced Nursery School Director has developed an excellent preschool program that meets the needs of the individual child. In addition to our daily activities, our Nursery School program also offers weekly swim lessons and gym activities.

  The Y’s Owl Nursery School operates from September through early June.
  
  Hours: 9:00 – 11:30 am

          Days: 5 day: Monday – Friday

          3 day: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

           2 day: Tuesday, Thursday
