Prime Time/Babysitting

Welcome to Prime Time at the Bayside Family YMCA! We are proud to offer this essential member service, which is designed to allow the entire family to utilize the Y at the same time.

Prime Time is beneficial to children of all ages. It is a wonderful stepping-stone for young children taking their first steps toward independence. Children are able to adapt to their new environment at their own pace and with the encouragement of our Prime Time Staff. Prime Time teaches children important skills, such as sharing, patience and respect that come through interaction with other children. School-age children can seek help with homework or release some energy through sports, games and mat play. Prime Time also encourages children to explore their artistic talents through coloring, painting and other arts and crafts.

Parents are welcome to stay with their children in Prime Time and partake in this Y experience together.

**Bayside YMCA Kid’s Night Out**

Every even numbered Friday night from 6:15 - 9:30pm parents can enjoy a worry free night out while children can have a fun filled night at the YMCA.  Kid's Night Out is for children ages 4-12 years old.  Registration begins at 6:15 and ends at 6:45 sharp.  Registration is limited to 45 children and is on a first come basis.  Please bring a photo ID at time of drop off and pick up. The night starts off in the gym with sports, mats to play on and the moon bounce to jump in. At 7:00, children 7 and older can swim, at 8:00 the fun moves to the Family Center for pizza, popcorn, juice and a movie. Parents can choose either a G or PG rated movie for their children to enjoy. The cost is $15 for the first child and only $5 for each additional child in the same Household. Non members are also welcome at non member rates, $30 for the first child and $10 for each additional child in the same household. Please pack anything your child needs to shower and dress themselves, since we cannot assist them. All electronic devises/toys are strictly prohibited.
