Community H1N1 flu sites at the YMCA

The YMCA of Greater Providence has teamed with The Wellness Company to provide community flu clinics at each of our 7 full-service branches to help combat the spread of the H1N1 virus.

We are awaiting word when the vaccines will be available but expect to have our supply beginning the week of January 18. We will post dates and details as they become available.

Flu clinics will be for patients 19 and older. Only injectable vaccines will be available (no flu mist).

Limited doses of seasonal flu vaccine will also be available.

For every flu shot given at one of our clinics, the YMCA receives $1 toward our Financial Assistance Campaign, helping to ensure the participation of those who otherwise might not be able to join in on our health & wellness programs.
