Rebuilding Together
Volunteers Rehab YMCA's East Side/Mt. Hope Child Care Center
April 23, 2008
Partnership with
Rebuilding Together Providence
will refurbish site.
Volunteers from
Rebuilding Together Providence
will be rehabilitating the East Side/Mt. Hope Child Care Center, a program of the YMCA of Greater Providence on Saturday, April 26.
Volunteers from Textron will join YMCA staff in projects at the site including power washing, landscaping, painting, and roofing.
Rebuilding Together Providence
has over 15 years experience revitalizing older buildings in communities and neighborhoods around the area.
The East Side/Mt. Hope Child Care Center is a State Licensed Child Care Center with high quality, experienced staff, serving families with children aged 18 months – 5 years old. A developmentally appropriate creative curriculum incorporates healthy lifestyles and positive character development into children’s’ learning environment.
Recent renovations brought out the old charm and character of the building. Spacious rooms and high windows provide a bright, positive learning environment. The work of the volunteer team on April 26 will help to enhance that atmosphere.
