Overview
The YMCA of Greater Providence’s preschool programs provide young children with a variety of experiences that will prepare them for a lifetime of learning. Physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth is encouraged in a nurturing, supportive environment. The programs are centered on the three-way relationship that exists among children, parents/ guardians, and staff.
The preschool programs are open to all children between the ages 3 and 6 years. There are a variety of programs, ranging from nursery school to licensed kindergarten. Some of the programs include:
