Infants and Toddlers

The infants at YMCA Kids’ World share a calm place. Each child has their own crib, their own meal plan and daily schedule, their own relationship with our nurturing staff. You too will be encouraged to visit and call, will see pictures and other artifacts of the activity in the classroom, and will get to know the staff well. Infants share stories and songs and language daily, they enjoy time to be independent and be cuddled, and time to be active and restful.

The toddlers at YMCA Kid’s World share an active place, a room bustling with laughter and fun. One large space is shared throughout the toddler years, designed specifically with them in mind. Small toilets and sinks, small tables and chairs, and small teacher to child ratios make the business of the day toddler independence. Your toddler will share friendships through shared meals (center provided), twice daily outside play, circle and story time and by working (playing!) their way through an age appropriate curriculum designed with developmental goals in mind.
