Summer Programs Overview

YMCA Summer Programs strive to create a safe and caring community for your child. Every day will offer your child new experiences, the chance to develop new skills and the opportunity to make new friends. All of our programs are designed to encourage group participation, cooperation, build self-confidence and allow children to develop individual interests.

Our staff is made up of individuals committed to making your child’s experience fun, safe and memorable.  All YMCA of Greater Providence staff working with children are required to undergo thorough background checks, criminal background checks and child abuse/neglect and/or sexual offender record checks through the state they are employed in. All of our staff are also first aid and CPR certified.

YMCA Summer Programs are accredited by the American Camping Association and approved by the Department of Health in the state of RI or the State of Massachusetts.
