Overview

Summer is right around the corner! Can you believe it? It feels as though camp just ended, and we’re already starting back up again. Wow! How time flies when you’re having fun!

We are so excited about what we have to offer your children this summer. As most of you know, this is our second season as YMCA Camp Manitoo, and this year is sure to be even better than last year.

This year, in addition to our traditional day camp, where campers are able to engage in fun, age-appropriate activities, we will have some new and improved Specialty camps. Groups such as Fusionworks Dance Academy, Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology, Ocean State Adventures Kayaking, and Home Depot will lead some of our Specialty Camp activities, giving your child the experience of a lifetime.

The bayside Family YMCA’s Camp Manitoo is accredited with the American Camp Association (ACA) for meeting or exceeding the high quality standards of their criteria for camp programming, facility, and administration. But our true measure of success is earned whenever a child learns a new skill and has enjoyed himself/herself here at our camp.
