Schedule (July-August)

In an effort to allow every member a chance to attend these popular  classes, we have implemented the following procedures:

  • Sign ups for classes are 24 hours in advance by visiting or contacting our Welcome Center at 401.783.3900.
  • Claim your spot by arriving to class 5-10 minutes early for attendance and set up of equipment.
  • If you cannot make the class, please call and let us know ASAP so we can provide someone on the waitlist participation.
  • If a spot become available waitlisted members will be contacted by the Welcome Center prior to the class.
  • After class attendance, any waiting waitlisted members will be allowed entry if spots are available.


Active Older Adults

Improve your cardiovascular fitness, muscle endurance, and flexibility in this group exercise program.  It involves continuous movement to get your blood pumping. Class will utilize light weights and equipment. Designed just for active older adults!

Silver Sneakers® MSRM

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of motion, and activity for daily living skills. Hand\held weights, plastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance; a chair is used for seated and/or standing support. Low impact.

NIA (Neuromuscular Integrative Action)

Designed for all ages, body types, and fitness levels. A fusion of martial, healing, and dance arts. This expressive movement class blends rhythmic music with carefully choreographed, non-impact steps for a fun and invigorating workout. Low impact.


Meditation helps to reduce stress and anxiety, regulate sleep patterns, creative thinking and problem solving. There will be time after each class for questions and answers, one-on-one help, and suggestions to help you cultivate a daily practice.

Mixed Level Yoga

Instructors offer a variety of asanas (yoga poses) made accessible to most fitness levels (from beginner to advanced) by providing various posture modifications, as well as guidance to deepen the individual practice.

Chair Yoga

This basic yoga practice of balancing, stretching, and strengthening poses is done seated on a chair with the option to practice some standing poses with/without the aid of a chair.

Gentle Yoga

A gentle format of traditional yoga. A chair may be used to assist in getting on and off the floor, and also for additional support during the standing series.

Baby & Me Yoga

Babies 6 weeks to crawling. Bring your little one to enjoy an hour filled with breathing techniques to calm you and your baby, gentle baby massage and stretches, asanas for the Mommy, community building and sharing, and more! Please bring blanket, quilt, etc for baby to lie on during class and please feel free to pause during class as needed to comfort or feed baby.


Focusing on core strength in the torso, abdomen, and spine. This mind-body conditioning class uses stretching, strengthening, and breathing to tone muscles, increase flexibility, and improve posture. Low impact.

Qi Gong

Learn to cultivate the life energy within your body and awaken your inner healer. A meditation in motion, Qi Gong can have a profound and positive effect on your overall health and well-being. Low impact.

Yogalates (yoga/pilates)

Gentle format of traditional yoga and pilates. Practice of balancing, stretching, strengthening core, abs, and spine. Breathing techniques to assist in increasing flexibility, posture, and muscle toning.

Prana flow yoga

A vinyasa-based class that encourages students to embody their yoga practice, instead of just “doing” it. These dynamic, creative classes combine rhythmic movement, music, pranayama (breathing exercises) and yogic philosophy to help tap into your vital lifeforce (prana).


This class is taught in a step-by-step process in order to sculpt the body, burn calories, and build long, lean muscles.  It will help you to gain muscle endurance, create a stronger core, improve posture and balance, increase flexibility, and create more muscle tone!


A series of choreographed routines designed to elevate the heart rate and provide an awesome aerobic workout. Medium-high impact.

Step Combo

A step class which combines muscle conditioning and a full-body stretch. Medium to high impact.

Y Fit

Functional Fitness classes which may include TRX Suspension training, kettle , and more. The result is a workout geared to make your body move better, usually in ways you didn't know it could!

Abs & Core

Target and challenge the core with this intense and dynamic workout. You will learn how to effectively strengthen the core using proper form and technique. Low Impact.


This always fun class is 20 minutes of cardio, strengthening and core exercises all wrapped into one class.


High Intensity Interval Training alternates short, high intensity intervals of cardio exercise with longer, lower slower intervals (including muscle conditioning moves) to recover.

Cardio Mix

This high-energy, fat-burning workout incorporates a variety of high and low impact cardio moves. May include boot camp drills, kickboxing, step, and other surprise elements. Medium to High Impact.

Sculpt/Power Sculpt

This is a full body strength training class which will use a variety of fitness equipment to strengthen and condition your body. (Sculpt circuits mix in cardio as well.) Medium impact; high impact moves can be modified.


Punch, kick, jab, and weave your way through this non-stop full-body aerobic workout. You will see and feel the results with this class – strength, agility, balance, coordination, endurance, and stress release. Medium to high impact.

ZUMBA®  Party

When participants see a ZUMBA® class in action, they can’t wait to give it a try. ZUMBA® classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before participants know it, they’re getting fit, and their energy levels are soaring! There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba® Party. It’s easy to do, effective, and totally exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among returning students.

ZUMBA® Basic

Learn the basic elements of ZUMBA®  Fitness - known for: the zesty Latin music, like salsa, merengue, cumbia, and reggaeton; the exhilarating, easy-to-follow moves; and the invigorating, party-like atmosphere. All fitness levels will enjoy the camaraderie, excitement, and fitness as a regular part of their weekly schedule. It’s a dance-fitness class that feels friendly, and, most of all, fun.

hip hop FITNESS

Hip Hop your way through an hour of high-energy dance set to pop and hip hop tunes. A short warm up will be followed by easy to follow routines to your favorite songs! Come prepared to dance!


BODYPUMP is for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 590 calories. Instructors will coach you through the moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.


This instructor-led ride stationary bike workout is set to motivating music and simulates a challenging bike ride. Your ride is complete with hills, valleys, varying speeds, and recovery periods. All rides include a warm up, cool down, and final stretch. Low to medium impact. Secure a spot by calling the Welcome Center in advance.
