4th of July Holiday Hours


Our branch will be open for limited holiday hours on Monday, July 4th. We will be open from 6am-12pm. Kids Care will run from 9am-11:45am. Please click here for the holiday schedule for Group Exercise classes and the pool.

We offer Les Mills/BODYPUMP™ classes!

The YMCA offers BODYPUMP™ by Les Mills as part of our Group Exercise lineup! Registration can be done 24 hours in advance for each class. Members can register online or contact the Welcome Center. Become a YMCA Certified Lifeguard! A great way to earn extra money.

This nationally recognized course is designed to give participants the skills and knowledge to be a proficient lifeguard in pools and the accreditation for the Rhode Island State beach and waterfront test. Information within the course provides material to help guard, anticipate, and prevent potential incidents.

Summer Swim Team

The Summer Swim Team will focus on the fundamentals of developing stroke technique and basic endurance. Gain knowledge of the sport from East Side YMCA’s swim team coaches. Through their instruction you’ll stay fit and feel more confident about your swimming abilities. Whether to stay in shape and refine your stroke, or get a taste of competitive swimming air – the Summer Swim Team experience will be for you!
