The West Bay Family YMCA serves more than 6,000 members, mostly in the North Kingstown, Exeter and East Greenwich communities.
The West Bay YMCA won the 2007 Raytheon Award for support of military families within our community.
Our 2009 annual Giving Tree provided gifts to more than 80 families at Christmastime who otherwise would not have been able to afford much.
This year, more than 200 young dancers were involved in the Annual Dance Recital run by our Health and Wellness director, Tara Calise.
Each week, more than 100 children come in to the West Bay Family YMCA to take swim lessons that teach skills, self-esteem and personal safety that helps to prevent drownings and other aquatic-related deaths.
The West Bay Family YMCA is one of the pioneering YMCA's that is participating in the Activate America collaborative.
