Facts and Figures

• The West Bay Family YMCA serves more than 6,000 members, mostly in the North Kingstown, Exeter and East Greenwich communities.
  
• The West Bay YMCA won the 2007 Raytheon Award for support of military families within our community.
  
• Our 2009 annual Giving Tree provided gifts to more than 80 families at Christmastime who otherwise would not have been able to afford much.
  
• This year, more than 200 young dancers were involved in the Annual Dance Recital run by our Health and Wellness director, Tara Calise.
  
• Each week, more than 100 children come in to the West Bay Family YMCA to take swim lessons that teach skills, self-esteem and personal safety that helps to prevent drownings and other aquatic-related deaths.
  
• The West Bay Family YMCA is one of the pioneering YMCA's that is participating in the Activate America collaborative.
